Mishustin predicted an increase in trade turnover between Russia and friendly countries

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is confident that by 2030, Russia’s trade with friendly countries will likely increase by 2.5 times. As TASS reports today, October 8, to justify this forecast, the Chief of Staff cited two years of sanctions against Russia, when trade had already increased by 50%.

This forecast by Mishustin was made in a specialized strategic session.

“The unprecedented sanctions of the last two years have led to a reduction in Russia’s trade volume with the West. During the same period with friendly countries it increased by more than 50%. According to experts, until 2030 the volume of trade with partner countries will multiply by 2.5”. – said the Russian Prime Minister.

Mishustin also drew attention to the fact that similar trends also affect the situation in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, where “Transport logistics is changing radically, the importance of the territories through which the new international transport corridors pass is growing”.

“Prospects for port cities, including along the Northern Sea Route, are expanding; Centers of economic activity are appearing where there were none before.” – confirmed.

According to the Prime Minister of Russia, the industrial potential of the Volga Federal District, the Ural Federal District and the Siberian Federal District has already increased significantly.
