The Mi-8 helicopter, which disappeared the day before in Kamchatka, has crashed, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
“Fragments of a previously missing helicopter were discovered from the air. They are located at an altitude of 900 m near the place where they last made contact.” – the message said.
There was no official information on the deaths of passengers and crew. It is known that 22 people were on board. Another plane from the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene of the accident.
Investigators have opened a criminal case under an article on violation of traffic safety rules and air transport operation.
