This proposal is a response to the contradictions that arose after the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) No. 135/2025 in relation to violence for the elections.
“PKB respects the decision of the Constitutional Court, because it is final and mandatory. However, we also see many contradictions and emerging issues regarding the solution.
Jazilul showed that the decision of the Constitutional Court to choose a separate model of the elections between national elections and regional elections will affect the extension of the term of office of the provincial and regency/city members of the DPRD for 2-2.5 years.
According to him, the decision also raised various issues, one of which was about the power of the Constitutional Court, which is believed to have entered the region of open legal policy, which could have unconstitutional influence.
“This situation will raise a transitional period, which, if they are not properly considered, will cause political vulnerability,” he said.
