During the renovation of a military hospital in Perm, the theft of budget funds worth 35 million rubles was revealed. The former head of the construction department of the Central Military District section, Sergei Sukhov, his deputy Dmitry Sergel and the director of Special Construction Technologies LLC, Pavel Kravchenko, are suspected of the crime. This was reported today, October 3, in the Labor Code of the military investigation bodies of the Investigative Commission.
“The military investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation are investigating a criminal case against the former head of the section of the Construction Directorate of the Central Military District of the public law company Military Construction Company Sergei Sukhov, his deputy Dmitry Sergel and the director of Special Construction Technologies LLC, Pavel Kravchenko, in the commission of a crime provided for in Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud committed on a large scale)”, – said the press service.
In 2022, Sukhov, Sergel and Kravchenko, while fulfilling a government contract worth more than 190 million rubles as part of a state defense order for the renovation of a military hospital in Perm, stole more than 35 million rubles by falsifying documents .
“The defendants divided the stolen funds among themselves. A preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen against Sukhov. Sergel was included in the interstate list of wanted persons and a preventive measure was imposed on him in the form of detention in absentia.” – added the department.
The progress and results of the criminal investigation were monitored by the Main Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
