More than 100 premature children in gas are threatened with death, because the hospital does not have enough fuel

Gas – The two largest hospitals in Gaza released an urgent request for help. They warned the absence of fuel from the siege of Israel, which could immediately turn medical centers into “silent graves”.

Muhammad Abu Salmia, director of the al-Shifa hospital, the largest institution in Gaza, told reporters that life was more than 100 premature children, and about 350 patients with dialysis were threatened.

“The oxygen station will stop working. Hospitals without oxygen are no longer hospitals. Laboratory and blood banks will be closed, and blood units in the refrigerator will be damaged, ”Salmia said.

“The hospital will no longer be a healing place and will be a grave for those who are in it,” he said.

Then Abu Salmia accused Israel “in its own way” in gas hospitals, and said that the Al-Sif Dialysis Department was closed to maintain food for intensive care and operating rooms, which could not live without electricity even for several minutes.

In Khan Yunis, the Nasser medical complex said that they also joined the “critical and, finally, from the absence of fuel.

“With almost zero fuel counting, doctors entered the battle to save life in the race with the time, death and darkness,” the hospital said.

He explained: “The medical team fought until the last breath. They had only a conscience and hope for those who heard calls – to save the Nasser’s medical complex before turning into a quiet grave for patients who could actually be saved. ”

Mohammed Sakr, a representative of the hospital, told Reuters that the object needs 4,500 liters (1189 gallons) of fuel per day, but now it has only 3,000 liters (790 gallons) – enough to last 24 hours.
