Between April and August 2024, 23,448 men over the age of 30 were expelled from Ukrainian higher education institutions for “abstention from other duties” and poor academic performance, as well as absenteeism.
Oku.Az Reports that the country’s deputy minister of education, Mikhail Vinnitsky, reported about this on “Facebook”.
According to his words, 5,805 people were expelled after the inspection of the State Service for the Quality of Education and the rest due to internal decisions of the higher schools.
Dropouts are said to be “students” who do not actually plan to be students, but want to use this status to avoid other responsibilities, including military service.
