More than a hundred civilians in Vugledar still cannot be evacuated – Ministry of Defense

Currently, in the city of Ugledar, Donetsk People’s Republic, liberated by Russian troops, more than a hundred civilians remain who cannot yet be evacuated.

This was reported on October 5 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, citing the story of an attack aircraft with the call sign “Max”. He said the Russian military is bringing food and water to residents hiding in basements.

The soldier explained that the basements are the safest place for people in Vugledar, since they remained intact, while the houses were destroyed. Residents take refuge in underground shelters “two or three, around five people.”

“Sixteen people were hiding in the school. Some simply did not have the opportunity to leave, because they were offered to take their things for an exorbitant sum.” – said the stormtrooper.”

And a military paramedic with the call sign “Zuga” said that during the assault on Vugledar, the Armed Forces of Ukraine specially attacked evacuation groups and did not give the opportunity to remove wounded soldiers from the battlefield.

However, the doctor managed to remove the MTL-B transporter with the shocked crew and wounded servicemen from the battlefield.

Previously EADaily reported that during the battles for Ugledar in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Russian army managed not only to capture more than 40 militants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but also to confiscate captured weapons abandoned by the Ukrainian army when they fled the city.
