The number of deaths due to DANA on October 29 already stands at 224according to the latest official government data, in which 16 people were reported missing.
Of the 224 deaths, 216 died in the Valencian Communityseven in Castile-La Mancha and one in Andalusia.
More than a hundred victims from the province of Valencia was 70 years or older -15 were nonagenarians- and there are nine minors. In addition, 131 men and 85 women, 190 were of Spanish nationality and 26 others had 11 different nationalities.
Among the foreign deaths, there are people of Romania (9), Morocco (4), China (4), United Kingdom (2), Ecuador (1), Venezuela (1), Ukraine (1), Netherlands (1), Tunisia (1), Colombia (1) and Paraguay (1).
The municipalities where the greatest number of dead bodies have been found are Paiporta (45), Catarroja (25), Valencia (16), Alfafar (15), Massanassa (11) and Benetússer, Torrent and Picanya (10 in each case).
All this data was provided by the Data Integration Center (CID) established by the first DANA through the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community.

The CID is a technical body composed of a Forensic office and a Office of State Security Forces and Corps, with specialized agents of the Civil Guard and the National Police, and its main function is to collect and supervise the different identification reports carried out by the different institutions on people who died during multiple victim events, in accordance with the RD 32/2009.
Additionally, and according to government data, autopsies were performed on all victims (eight of whom died from causes unrelated to DANA) and 216 were fully identifiedwho are all those who perished because of the disaster.
Of the 216 identifications, 168 were made through fingerprint analysis and 45 by DNA, while three cases correspond to a hospital identification during his lifetime.
Moncloa also notes that 197 bodies have already been handed over to their families and that there are still 16 people missing.
