More than forty roads are still closed in Valencia after DANA

A total of 82 roads in the Valencian Community remain affected by storm DANA, of which 42 remain closed to traffic.

Concretely, according to the Emergencies of the Generalitat, some of the roads closed in the province of Valencia are the A-7, in the industrial zone of L’Oliveral-Mas del Judge (in Quart de Poblet a Torrent); the N-III to Siete Aguas-Buñol and San Juan-Requena; the CV-134, in Tirig-Salzadella; or the CV-36, from Picaña to the junction with the A-7, whose bridge collapsed at kilometer 9. Also the V-31 (Horno de Alcedo), the CV-33 (Torrent) and the CV-50 (Chiva).

Likewise, CV-378 is closed to access to Cheste, due to the collapse of the bridge; the CV-380 in Pedralba, on the Túria river bridge; CV-382, at the junction of CV-384 and CV-379 in Chiva, due to the risk of collapse at kilometer point 0+750; or the CV-42 on the Magro River Bridge.

CV-416 is also cut, between kilometers 9+200 and 9+400 due to a collapsed bridge, as well as near Montserrat due to a collapsed lane of the highway.

The Generalitat highlighted that this Sunday, until 11:59 p.m., there was restricts the movement of private vehicles on the access roads to the municipalities most affected by DANA to facilitate emergency mobilization.

The roads concerned are the entrances and exits of the municipalities to and from the V-31 in their entirety, with the exception of the entrance to the city of Valencia; and accesses and exits to municipalities from kilometer 0 of the V-30 -the Port- to kilometer 9, which coincides with access to the A-3, in both directions, except at the entrance to Valencia .

In addition, traffic will be prohibited on the CV-33, between Albal and Torrent; the CV-36, between Valencia and the ring road; CV-366, southern access to Torrent; the CV-400 between Valencia and Albal; the CV-403, between Xirivella and Torrent; the CV-407, between Picanya and Sedaví; and CV-410, between Alaquàs and the Bonaire shopping center.

On these roads, the circulation of any transport vehicle is restricted except for attending health centers, services and establishments, complying with professional, commercial, institutional or legal obligations or returning to the place of habitual or family residence.

In addition, vehicle circulation will be authorized to assist and care for the elderly, minors, dependent people, disabled people or particularly vulnerable people. Exceptions are also provided for required or urgent actions before public judicial or notarial bodies or those due to a case of force majeure or a situation of necessity. And finally, any other activity of the same nature, duly accredited.

On the other hand, this Sunday movement of non-residents to eleven municipalities in the areas most affected by flooding, taking into account the yellow rain alert forecast. Concretely, the access of volunteers to Aldaia, Alaquàs, Picanya, Sedaví, Paiporta, Benetússer, Alfafar, Massanassa, Catarroja, Albal and Beniparrell will be restricted.
