In the first half of 2024, 2,905 real estate loans were taken out, compared to 3,147 in 2023
The first half ended with negative results for the mortgage market in the province of Córdoba. According to data published by the National Institute of Statistics (INE), between January and June 2024, 2,905 housing loans were signed, compared to 3,147 in the same period of the previous year, a 7.6% less.
The INE report also reflects a slight reduction in the subscription of all mortgages (not only those signed on houses, but also those formalized on urban and rural plots and properties). Between January and June, there were 3,650, compared to 3,989 for the same period in 2023.
Back home, the first quarter This has been very negative in the signing of mortgage loans: in these months, only 1,197 have been signed, 28.6% less than in 2023, or 481 less.
From March The numbers started to increase and from April to June the total number of mortgage loans stood at 1,708, compared to 1,469 in the same months of the previous year.
