Moscow region to radically resolve migrant issue from January 1, 2025

At the weekly meeting of the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov with the regional government and heads of city districts, the head of the region confirmed the ban on attracting migrants to work in the sphere of social services, tobacco and alcohol trade, sports, culture, leisure, healthcare and education from January 1 next year. “360.ru” reports on this today, September 17.

Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region Natalia Maslenkina He also confirmed a significant increase in complaints against migrants in the last three years.

“Currently, in the Moscow region there is an acceptable limit of 15% for its use in retail stores selling alcohol, beer and tobacco. We would like to join the 22 regions that have introduced a complete ban on working with patents.” – said Maslenkina.

A representative of the Moscow region government also confirmed the restrictions on patents in the field of street food in non-stationary retail establishments, in social areas – sports, work, leisure, as well as in healthcare, social services and education.

“This measure will help minimize potential conflicts. With the introduction of these bans, the number of patent holders to be replaced will be 5.6 thousand people. Economically, this can be compensated at the expense of our compatriots, as well as citizens of the EAEU.” — Natalia Maslenkina clarified.

Now a foreign citizen must have a special license to work, and the employing organization is also responsible for this.

“A patent holder who violates the ban will be fined 45,000-50,000 rubles, legal entities – 800,000-1 million rubles, or their activities will be suspended for 14-90 days.” – confirmed the head of the Main Directorate of Regional Security of the Moscow Region with the rank of minister Kirill Karasev.

Karasev himself confirmed that the results of the raids carried out between July and September this year have already led to fines for 92 businessmen.
