A mother and her son from the Pskov region were detained on suspicion of treason, the Shot telegram channel reported.
“In 2023, the woman contacted a representative of the Ukrainian public humanitarian project, which is under the control of the GUR. They were going to transfer funds to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Ukrainian accounts. Previously, her son learned about his mother’s activities and also began to communicate with a representative of the Ukrainian humanitarian project. “I wanted to go serve in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.” – writes TK.
The woman’s attempt to transfer money to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and her son’s attempt to go fight on the side of Ukraine was stopped by agents of the FSB Directorate for the Pskov region.
The suspects were arrested and confessed everything. The detainee promised not to violate the laws of the Russian Federation in the future. The mother and son were warned about the illegality of their actions under the article “Treason”.
