“Ruslana is 14 years old. Eight months ago she was diagnosed with brain damage. Until then, everything was fine with Ruslana. She went to school, studied well, was a very calm girl. But when this disease found her, I can’t recognize my daughter. She hits herself, screams, cries.”
Giyafat Abbasova said she is taking care of her son alone.
“I am also a single mother, my husband died three years ago. When Ruslan’s treatment was stopped, his condition worsened. He became even more aggressive. Believe me, I couldn’t even pay for electricity because we had no money. I stayed with my two children in a dark house. We need 800 manats for treatment. I ask helpful people to support us.”
