The head of the world operation Cartenz, the brigade General Fayzal Ramadhani, explained that the incident occurred in the mountainous part of the Vanvi region, Punkak Jaya Regenia.
“This information began with public reports on Saturday (12/07/2025) in the Punkak Jaya Spkt police,” Fayzal said in his statement, Sunday (07/13/2025).
Following the report, the operational operative group Cartenz Damai, together with the regional police, Punkak Jaya and TNI immediately quickly moved to the search and evacuated the victims at 14.25 CET.
“With a coil, which is difficult to get, the staff of the Damai Cartenz OPS operational group, together with the members of the Punkak Jaya and TNI police station, managed to get to the victims, going down a rather extreme way down the cliff to 500 meters to appoint victims,” he said.
