Lembata – Mountain Il Levoglok In the Lembat of Regensia, the Nusa Tenggar again survived the eruption at 6:25 in the morning, on Saturday (5/7/2025). The eruption has the height of the ash column observed by 500 m above the peak (± 1923 m above sea level).
The Center for Vulcanology of Sitling Geological Disasters (PVMBG) and volcanic observation Ile Lewotolok reported that the pepel column was gray to black with thick intensity leaning to the south -west.
This eruption is recorded in a seismogram with a maximum amplitude of 40 mm and a duration of ± 48 seconds. The status of the mountain is still at the level of III (warning).
PVMBG asks people around the mountain il levopolok or visitors/climbers/tourists so that they do not enter and do not engage in activities in the radius area 3 km from the center of mining.
In addition, be aware of a potential threat to the danger of lava and hot clouds from the southern and southeast sector, the western sector and the north -eastern sector of Mount Il Levogolok.
PVMBG also turned to the public not to panic if they hear a roar or a boom from the mountain crater Il Levopolok, because the sound is characteristic of volcanic activity, which is at the eruption stage.
