Liputan6.com, jakarta – The Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian People’s Advisory Assembly, Hidai, Nur Vahid, expressed his concern about the growth of improper use of social assistance (social assistance) near the recipients who actually used it for online gambling games (Judu). He asked the government, especially the Ministry of Social Affairs (the Ministry of Social Affairs), immediately acted decisively, replacing the recipients of social assistance, who, as proved, incorrectly used state assistance.

This statement followed shocking conclusions from the reporting center and analysis of financial transactions (PPATK), which mentioned that 571,410 identification numbers of the population (NIK) were registered during 2024, but the total number of transactions with this case even reached 957 billion RP with more than 7.5 million registered transaction.
In accordance with the PPATK report, the Ministry of Social Accounts collaborated with PPATK in order to ensure the dissemination of social assistance, as indicated by President Prabovo Subianto. The analysis of the recipient of social assistance will become an important guide in checking the feasibility, especially with the number of sleeping accounts, which are active only upon receipt of the transfer of social assistance.
According to Hidayat, who is also a member of the Commission of the House of VIII – the work of the Ministry of Social Affairs – the government should show the firmness of people who abuse social assistance for personal benefits, especially for digital gambling.
