According to Rostec, the howitzer has high driving performance, allowing it to quickly reach a position and leave with virtually no risk of getting stuck in muddy terrain.
“With the arrival of autumn, the roads of the northwest district will become impassable swamps. These conditions make the movement of equipment difficult, but not our Msta. “This self-propelled gun outperforms all foreign models on sticky soils thanks to the successful tracked platform of the T-72 tank.” – emphasized the state corporations.
The vehicle has a firing range comparable to enemy models and significantly better protection against weapons, including drones.
The modernized Msta-S self-propelled howitzer is periodically produced and sent to the troops by Rostec factories.
