The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) extended the yellow storm alert this Saturday to the province of Malagaafter announcing the same in Huelva and Cadiz, and also extended this risk to the areas of Cadiz of the Strait and Grazalema.
According to information published on the Aemet website, consulted by Europa Press, the notice will remain in force from 2 p.m. until the end of the day. This will affect, in Cadiz, the countryside and the coast – as well as the areas already mentioned –; in Huelva, in the region of Andévalo and Condado and on the coast, while in Malaga it will remain in force in Ronda y Sol and Gualdahorce.
Regionally, the sky will be slightly cloudy or clear on this day, although cloudiness will increase, without excluding occasional showers and thunderstorms from the afternoon, which can be accompanied by strong or very strong gusts and mud depositsmore likely in the Baetic Mountains, and less likely in the western third and the Sierra Morena.
Suspended dust is also expected on the Mediterranean side, while westerly winds will blow, light to moderate in inland and moderate on the coastwith strong to very strong gusts from the afternoon.
