Muhammadia launched one global Hijri calendar, the impulse of the unity of Muslims in the world

JAKARTA – Initiative Hijri calendar Global single (KHGT) was officially launched by the central leadership of Muhammadia on June 25, 2025. The organization of the youth of the Islamic Corporation (OIC) believed that this step was an important marker in an attempt to go to the unity of Muslims around the world.

According to Oic Youuth Indonesia, the KHGT initiative is a big step that not only affects the technical aspects of the calendar, but also affects the spiritual, social and symbolic aspects of the life of Muslims.

Adlan Atori, General Secretary of Youth Indonesia Oic, said that KHGT was a strategic breakthrough that responded to the needs of people for the uniformity of worship and religious moments.

Until now, Muslims often differ in determining the beginning of Ramadan and holidays. KHGT is present as a solution with the basis of science, Sharia and modern technologies.

“I believe that KHGT is like a modern ijtihad, which combines the correspondence of Sharia with the progress of science. This shows that Islam can be a solution to people’s problems at a global level, ”said Adlan atori.
