Employees of the Surakhani district prosecutor’s office and the Baku city district police department solved the crime committed 22 years ago.
Oku.Az reports that the Attorney General’s Office and the Ministry of the Interior published joint information in this regard.
It was reported that the murder of ZD (on parole), 13 years old, born in 1989, in the Hovsan settlement on April 9, 2002, was subjected to violent acts and intentionally killed with special cruelty.
Thus, with the evidence gathered, ME (conditional), born in 1980, committed acts of violence against ZD, who was a minor on that date, and later ZD stated that he would report what happened, and the latter’s mother, BA, caused multiple injuries and committed another crime, reasonable suspicions were established that they killed intentionally with special cruelty in connection with concealment and other illegal actions.
ME and BA were arrested as suspected of having committed a crime and today they are charged with articles 120.2.1, 120.2.4, 120.2.6 of the Penal Code (murder by a group of people with special cruelty and concealment of another crime). Arrest measures were chosen by decisions of the Surakhani District Court based on the requests of the investigator and the presentations of the prosecutor who led the procedural management of the preliminary investigation.
