Musk threatened those who accuse him of having ties to the Russian Federation: I will find and destroy

Elon Musk reacted harshly to accusations of ties to Russia made against him.

Democratic senators have called for an investigation into the billionaire’s alleged contacts with Russian authorities, saying such ties could threaten US security.

In response, Musk called the senators “puppets” and promised to deal with those who spread such accusations.

He said he intends to find out who is behind these accusations and “destroy them.” This statement was a strong response to the pressure exerted on the businessman.

Previously, Cursor wrote that Elon Max could cause a split in relations between the United States and Europe.

Relations between politicians and businessmen are often based on pragmatism: the authorities are interested in investments and support in elections, and businessmen try to remain neutral for the sake of subsidies and administrative privileges.

However, this balance is easily disturbed, as demonstrated by Elon Musk, whose harsh statements and public conflicts with European politicians are increasingly noticeable.

Thus, last week Musk called German Chancellor Olaf Scholz a “fool,” and earlier this year he suggested that one of the European commissioners “step back and fuck his face.” Europe’s responses were immediate: EU representatives accused Musk of destructive behavior and the French Foreign Minister ridiculed him for not launching missiles.

At first glance, these skirmishes look like regular Internet scandals. However, the situation goes beyond jokes. Musk is not only one of the biggest tech tycoons, but also an active political player.

His support for Donald Trump as he prepares for the US presidential election is causing serious concern in Europe. Despite Musk’s criticism, the EU is already heavily dependent on his business: Tesla occupies a key position in the decarbonization of transport, Starlink provides communications on the Ukrainian front and its rockets replace European ones in satellite launches. Under these conditions, strict regulation of its companies becomes an extremely difficult task for Brussels.

Musk is Europe’s most worrying technology leader. He has repeatedly accused the continent of a demographic crisis and weakness in the face of migration challenges, which only increases tension. Furthermore, his open criticism of the Digital Services Act (DSA), intended to regulate content on social networks, poses a serious challenge to European authorities. Musk considers these rules to be unacceptable censorship of American values.

Given its influence on the global stage – from its participation in the negotiations between Trump and Zelensky to its interactions with the Kremlin – Europe faces a dilemma. It is impossible to ignore Musk, but limiting his influence is becoming increasingly difficult, especially given the EU’s growing dependence on his technology.
