Barbara Rey’s son, Angel Cristo Jr.leaked images of his mother with King Juan Carlos I that show the relationship they both had for years. Some photos in which they appear kissing and that he himself would have taken as a child, according to what he claims in an interview with ‘Privé’, the Dutch magazine that is now publishing these unpublished images. The aim, he claims, was to blackmail the monarch with this material.
In these statements, Ángel Cristo recounts how he took the photos and then hid in the neighbor’s house. “My mother and I we had planned everything in advance“, he says in the interview, in which he also assures that they made video and audio recordings and that his mother did not want to develop the photographs at home. “I took some in a hotel in Madrid and she took others in another place,” he says.
Similarly, he alludes to photo theft of the distinguished artist who took place in the house: “It was the intelligence service CNI, with the help of staff of the house, who gave them the keys,” says Bárbara Rey’s son, who adds that they stole “the most compromising photosbut they left some of the equipment.”
However, according to his story, His mother kept copies of the photographs in a safe and he had also hidden some in his room: “I had removed a shelf in the ceiling moldings of the bookstore and I kept the photos and the recording cassettes there. I did it after the theft,” says Ángel Cristo, who details that they had also sent copies to a safe in Luxembourg.
