Nacho Cano continues to discredit the police for their investigation into the allegations irregular hiring of Mexican internsby the artist for his musical comedy ‘Malinche’.
And this Saturday, during the return of the third season of his work, Nacho Cano once again attacked the police, whom he called “mountain people and thugs.” The artist took the microphone after work to attack the officers, whom he also called “Marlaska’s pimps.”
“They asked them on WhatsApp to meet them. Marlaska’s pimps, who are rednecks and thugs “Because they have been there for so long without anyone putting them in their place, they have no limits. What happened here is very serious and is not going to stay here,” Nacho Cano said in the middle of the stage.
On July 30, Judge Inmaculada Iglesias opened criminal proceedings against Nacho Cano and three other people for the alleged illegal hiring of immigrants for his show Malinche. They are being investigated for committing crimes against the rights of foreign citizens and crimes against workers’ rights.
These events are being investigated following the complaint presented by Lesly Guadalupe OFa Mexican dancer selected in that country, along with other participants in a casting, to be part of the company “La Malinche”.
According to the order, the people questioned “intentionally” facilitated the entry of non-EU foreigners without a work contract but as tourists, which allows them to stay in Spanish territory for 90 days, “transitioning to the irregular status” of a longer stay.
