Oku.Az Azerbaijani athlete Said Najafzadeh, who won a gold medal in the T12 long jump in para-athletics at the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games, told reporters.
She noted that she won her first gold medal at the Paralympic Games.
“At the last Paralympics I won a bronze medal. This time I was able to replace it with a gold medal. I am very happy.”
Another para-athlete, Orkhan Aslanov, who won a gold medal in the T13 long jump, receives the President’s award for his support. Ilham Aliyev and first vice president Mehriban Aliyeva grateful:
“My heart is full. After Tokyo, I also won a gold medal at the Paris competition.”
