A new principal has been appointed for the Nakhchivan girls’ secondary school.
According to Modern.az, the Minister of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Elkhan Najafov signed an order to this effect.
According to the order, Ilaha Vahid gizi Farajova was appointed to the mentioned position. Before that, he worked as the principal of secondary school number 11 in the city of Nakhchivan.
The information was confirmed by the Ministry of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
It should be noted that the secondary school was previously headed by Aida Allahverdiyeva, a deputy of the Supreme Assembly from Nakhchivan.
It should be noted that Nakhchivan Girls’ Secondary School was established in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in 1992 under the name “girls’ boarding school”. The secondary school, which since 2004 operates under the name Nakhchivan Girls’ Secondary School, is the only girls’ school in Azerbaijan.
