The North Atlantic Alliance will begin its annual Steadfast Noon nuclear weapons exercise on October 14. This was told to journalists by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte upon his arrival in London to meet with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
“Starting Monday, NATO will begin Steadfast Noon maneuvers,” he said, according to TASS.
Nuclear exercises are held annually involving dozens of aircraft from nuclear and non-nuclear NATO states and simulating tactical attacks with nuclear weapons. The maneuvers do not involve flights with nuclear weapons on board.
