Saioa Arizaleta Fernández (Etayo –Navarra-, 1999), graduated in Primary Education, won the 1st Prize for End of Study Project in the field of Gender equality at the University of La Rioja with his work “Sexual education in the face of the new online pornography”. Proposal for intervention for the sixth year of primary education.
This price –endowed with 900 euros– will be awarded with a second prize on Friday, November 22 during the conference “Exiting violence: uniting voices” which will be held in the assembly hall of the polytechnic building.
The jury also rewarded the work “Misogynist Discourses in the Digital Environment: Impact on Youth and Proposals for Equality in Spain” with a second prize for its quality. It is the work of Sandra Lopez Castanedadegree in social work.
The objective of this competition – in which 14 works participated – was to reward the best final study project (end of study project, end of master’s project or doctoral thesis) presented to the University of La Rioja, in any branch of knowledge, with a gender perspective and/or which has integrated gender as a category of analysis.
He jury for the 1st Prize for the End of Study Project In matters of gender equality at the University of La Rioja, he was trained by Begoña Marañón, Deputy Director General of Equality of the Government of La Rioja; Domingo Carbonero, from the field of Social Work and Social Services; Cecilia Serrano, from the field of Social Work and Social Services; David San Martín, from the Administrative Law sector; and chaired by Andrea Gutiérrez, director of the Equality and Inclusion Unit.
