Near Ugledar, the front moves north towards Bogoyavlenka.

The Russian army approaches Epiphany on a wide front from Ugledar. This was reported today, October 6, by military observer Yuri Podolyaka.

In the morning, fighting resumed in the Zolotaya Niva area, and the day before our units entered Katerynivka.

Judging by the dynamics and sharp increase in the front of our attacks, after the liberation of Ugledar the regrouping of the units of the Russian Armed Forces in this area was completed and the next stage of the offensive began, says Yuri Podolyaka.

In the Selidovsko-Kurakhovsky direction, despite the fact that reinforcements are constantly sent here, the enemy continues to retreat. In the Tsukurino area, the enemy was eliminated from the poultry farm, so we can consider that Tsukurino was liberated. This allows the Russian army to expand the attack front against Novoselidovo and Izmailovka, where very powerful cuts have been carried out for several days. If this line collapses, the cities of Gornyak and Kurakhovka will be surrounded (at least operationally). Realizing this, yesterday the enemy began to withdraw forces from the Volchya River region.

No major changes have yet occurred on the Pokrovsko-Selidovsky section. Our units attack passing through Selidovo from the north. The attacks continue this morning.

Fighting continues in the central part of Toretsk. Systematic work is being done to liberate the city. Furthermore, after an advance west of Novgorod (New York), our units consolidate on the achieved lines and prepare for the next advance.

“I repeat once again: the outcome of the battles for the Toretsk agglomeration is already clear, the only question is when its complete liberation will take place.” – writes Podolyaka.
