The first of S’ha Finish! In Madrid, he brought together nearly a hundred people at an event called For a united Spainattended by the Vox spokesperson at the Madrid Assembly, Isabelle Pérez Moñinoand the PP deputy, Miguel Ángel Sastre Uyá. The discussion between the two was moderated by the new delegate of the association in Madrid, Patricia Conde.
The event took place last Friday and was inaugurated by the vice president of S’ha Finish!, Hugo Escarpa. The representative of the association presented the new delegation and began by recalling in a few words the victims of DANA which struck the province of Valencia on October 29.
Condé was responsible for giving way to the politicians who participated in the conference. The new delegate of the association in Madrid shared her personal experience as a student at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the Complutense University. The young woman assured that this institution is “dominated by the influence of the most radical left, where it has even gone so far as to advocate terrorism”.
Condé’s experience in this environment pushed him to become aware of the political situation and what his academic colleagues in Catalonia could be experiencing, as he expressed in his speech. Since then, he has decided to take a stand and publicly defend “freedom of expression, constitutional values and the unity of Spain”.
The value of the “cultural battle”
For his part, Sastre Uyá took advantage of his interventions to explain what his first steps in active politics were. Now, as a national deputy, he discusses his functions within the Housing Commission of the Lower House. In this sense, he expressed his dissatisfaction with the way in which the Spanish government deals with this issue, a particularly delicate aspect for young people. And he called for choosing to defend a “cultural alternative” in opposition to the dominant ideology dominated by progressive groups.
In the case of Pérez Moñino, he highlighted the importance of municipal policies. In her case, she started in politics as a municipal councilor in Fuenlabrada, where the left has governed since the establishment of democracy in Spain. And he stressed the importance of waging the “cultural battle,” which he described as “not being intimidated by the left and its proposals, but facing our values with conviction and courage.”
The leaders of S’ha Finish! They celebrated the good reception that this event received among young people, who attended this first event in large numbers. In the eyes of this association, the most relevant is that “many young people were able to learn about the objectives” of S’ha Finish! and “they had the
opportunity to join this project. Furthermore, they emphasized that “this act is only the beginning of the journey of S’ha Finish! for the Capital”, as they will launch other initiatives in the months to come.
