Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fired his Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, on Tuesday for “gaps” in the management of the war in Gaza, and appointed to replace him the current Minister of Foreign Affairs, Israel Katz.
In a statement, Netanyahu said he had “significant gaps” between Gallant and him in the management of the campaign (military in Gaza) and “these differences were accompanied by declarations and actions that contradict the decisions of the government and the decisions of the cabinet”, reports the Efe agency.
