Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the Iranian agents who tried to assassinate him and his wife made a serious mistake.
He stressed that this will not stop him personally or the State of Israel in their determination to continue the fight against the country’s enemies.
Netanyahu vowed that anyone who harms Israeli citizens will be severely punished.
“I say to the Iranians and their partners in the axis of evil: anyone who harms the citizens of the State of Israel will pay a high price for it,” Netanyahu said.
He also added that Israel will continue to eliminate terrorists, return abductees from Gaza and restore security on the country’s northern borders. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that all military objectives will be achieved and that the security situation will change for many years to come.
Israel, he said, will continue to fight and will definitely win.
“We will achieve all our military objectives and change the security reality in our region for generations. Together we will fight and, with God’s help, together we will win,” Netanyahu emphasized.
