Successful students will perform their military service at the National Defense University after graduation.
The purpose of the newly created concept is to more effectively use the knowledge and skills of talented young people who excel in education and contribute to their professional development.
Thus, those who have obtained more than 600 points in all specialties in the entrance exams to higher education institutions and those who have successfully graduated from foreign universities with international qualifications will continue their military service in these units under special conditions.
According to education expert Kamran Asadov, the analyzes carried out show that students admitted to the first specialty group “Information Technologies”, “Computer Science” and other areas with high qualifications are not able to use their knowledge and skills during military service after to complete their studies. This also causes some weakening in the field.
It should be noted that this decision also applies to young people who enter higher education institutions as winners of local and international competitions.
