At least four people died and 33 were injured in an attack attributed to the Israeli Defense Forces that demolished a building in central Beirut, Lebanese media reported early Saturday.
According to the TV channel Al-Manar, The attack completely destroyed an eight-story building. and left a crater of enormous proportions.
Al-Manar, citing Lebanese Health Ministry sources, reported that four people were killed and 33 injured, although Lebanese TV Al-Mayadeen pointed out that the number of deaths and injuries is likely to increase because it is estimated that several residents were left under the rubble.
The attack in this area of the city center took place hours after the raid by Israeli army planes. new offensive in the southern area of Beirut, a common occurrence in recent months.
Likewise, the attack occurred after the death of the director of Dar Al Amal University Hospital, Ali Rakan Allam, along with four others, during an Israeli raid in the town of Douris in the region of Baalbek, in eastern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health said that Friday’s Israeli attacks caused the deaths of at least 62 people and 111 injuredwhich brings the number of dead to 3,645 and wounded to 15,355 since the start of the conflict.
