New facts have emerged in the investigation into the murder of 8-year-old Narin Guran, who was brutally murdered in Turkey’s Diyarbakir province and whose body was found in a stream bed 19 days later.

The report included new statements from Nevzat Bakhtiyar, who hid Nari’s body by burying it in the stream bed.

“We dug a hole near the construction site for Narin. I put Narin’s body in the bag I found at the construction site,” Nevzat said.
He gave interesting information about the moments of the incident.
“In the evening I went home and had dinner. My water was cut off, I called the boss and told him that the water had been cut off. He said that he would inform the authorities. Ten minutes later, I went out into the yard. Water was coming to my mother’s house from another network, where I was watering my mother’s trees. At that moment, the boss Salim Guran (the main character of Nari’s murder) the uncle of the suspect – ed.) shouted to me from the yard of Arif. (Narin’s father – ed.) “Get ready, I have urgent business with you and wait for me.” Then he came with his car. I got into my car. We carried Nari’s body in the front of the car, where there was no one. “I could see it. Then I drove the car in front of my house. There was a sack with Nari’s lifeless body and I put it in a bag and took it to the Egertutmaz stream,” Nevzat said.
“Salim Guran did not involve Nevzat Bakhtiyar in the incident by accident. To dispose of Nari’s body, a good stonemason was needed who knew his job. Nevzat Bakhtiyar has a lot of experience in this field. He could have managed to hide the body under water so that it would never be found,” the TV channel reports.
