In 2023, the foundations of the bridge connecting the economic district of Eastern Zangezur and Nakhchivan were laid near the Agband settlement of Zangilan district.
Construction of the bridge is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
It is reported that with the construction of the bridge it will be easier to travel to Nakhchivan.
