The funeral of journalist, public figure and radio and TV host Nikolai Svanidze will be held behind closed doors, the journalist’s colleague at the Russian Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights (CHR), Eva Merkacheva, announced this on her Telegram channel.
“The funeral of journalist Nikolai Svanidze will be held in the closest family circle. That is what the family decided. They asked me to understand them.” – says the message.
As reported EADailyNikolai Svanidze died on September 11 at the age of 70. According to media and Telegram channels, the cause of death was pneumonia.
