Nineteen volunteers have revealed themselves drunk by carbon monoxide, of which two seriousin a garage in the Valencian town of Chiva, while carrying out cleaning work due to the effects caused by DANA.
Sources from the Civil Guard informed Efe that the event occurred around 2:30 p.m. in a garage located on Ramón y Cajal Street in the city, apparently due to poor engine combustion of the drain pump. Some of those affected had to be treated at the Chiva health center.
The health services mobilized two SAMU units, two SVB units and one medical helicopterin addition to the municipality’s primary care medical teams.
A total of 19 people were assisted, including a convulsing man who was transferred to Manises Hospital in stable condition.
Seven other people were transferred to the same hospital in a SAMU unit, the two BLS units and a BLS unit of the EMU. The remaining 11 people moved on their own.
