The huge third-generation Armada was presented to journalists in the USA, and the seventh-generation Patrol was presented to journalists in Abu Dhabi. In fact, it is the same car, only designed for the markets of different countries. Its appearance has changed radically, replacing the V8 with a turbocharged V6 engine, but the basic structure remains the same: it is a comfortable SUV with independent suspension of all wheels.
The Armada and Patrol models are produced on the same assembly line in Fukuoka and differ only in minor details. They also have a premium “brother” from the Infiniti brand – the QX80 SUV.
