There is no information about Russian citizens injured as a result of being hit by a car in the city of Zhuhai. This was reported to the TASS agency by the Russian Consulate General in Guangzhou.
“Information [о пострадавших россиянах] “There have been no reports from the relevant Chinese authorities,” – reported the diplomatic mission.
The consulate added that diplomats maintain contacts with the relevant government agencies of the People’s Republic of China. And if Russians are found among the victims, the public will be quickly informed.
It was previously reported that on November 11 in Zhuhai, an SUV ran over a crowd of pedestrians on the sidewalk. As a result, about 20 people were injured.
After the accident, the 62-year-old driver tried to escape from the scene, but was detained by the police.
