No violations were recorded during early voting in the elections for the governor of the Kursk region, the head of the regional election commission, Tatyana Malakhova, told reporters.

Early voting for the head of the region is continuing for the third day today, August 30. 774 polling stations are open.

According to the election commission, the acting governor of the Kursk region is running for the post of head of the region based on the results of registration. Alexei Smirnov from United Russia, deputy of the regional Duma Alexei Bobovnikov of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, deputy of the regional Duma Gennady Baev from the party “Fair Russia – For the Truth” and deputy of the regional Duma Alexei Tomanov of the Liberal Democratic Party.
