Liputan6.com, Tokyo – The Japanese Energy Company, Neo Corporation, was the focus of attention after the five former employees showed the inhuman treatment that they experienced at work. Employees claim that they are forced to take naked pictures and experience physical harassment if they do not reach a daily sales goal.
The company, based in Osaka and has nine branches throughout Japan, was previously known as aggressive advertising for recruitment. Neo Corporation said the average annual sales revenue in 2024 reached 14.27 million yen (about 1.5 billion rubles.
However, behind a fantastic number, former employees revealed a dark reality.
In the lawsuit filed in March, they accused the company of intimidation, violence and violations of employees’ rights.
One of the plaintiffs claimed that he was forced to take naked photos if they could not make sales in a day. Then the manager shared with other colleagues, who also sent a screen picture with a message, “shared”.
Even more surprisingly, he argued that he repeatedly experienced physical violence, including his vital bodies, compressed by his authorities as a form of punishment.
“My boss said that he did not use a lot of energy, but it was so painful that it was difficult for me to say,” said the victim, who was diagnosed with depression and violation of adaptation, such as quote SCMPFriday (7/7/2025).
Complaints of this behavior are actually ignored and used as jokes.
“Everyone experienced this,” said the branch manager when he was asked.
