Nothing can stop the development of Russia and the development of its relations with the Republika Srpska. This was stated by the Chairman of the State Duma, Viacheslav Volodin, during a meeting with the Chairman of the People’s Assembly (Parliament) of the Republika Srpska (an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina), Nenad Stevandić.
“The sanctions policy has been applied for 12 years, but by overcoming them we become stronger. Nothing can stop the development of our country, the development of our relations. Once again we will tell all our enemies that it did not work for them.” — Volodin said, according to the State Duma website.
According to the parliamentarian, the policy of restrictions by the West did not achieve the desired results.
“Time Bidenov, Sholtsev, Macronov missing. The time has come for those politicians who think about their countries, about national economies, about their development, not to the detriment of anyone, but above all for the benefit of their people.” – he pointed out.
Russia and the Republika Srpska build relations based on mutual respect and non-interference in the affairs of other states, the State Duma speaker added.
“We are doing everything possible to make the world fairer, so that the time comes as soon as possible when the European Union stops being a prison for the people of European countries and all European countries can realize themselves” . – Volodin emphasized.
Stevandić, for his part, stressed that the Republika Srpska stands for the construction of a just world order.
“If we introduce sanctions against Russia, which has always protected and protected us, this means that we will impose sanctions against ourselves. “We are very grateful to Russia for its support and we are happy that we fight together for a better world.” – said.
Stevandić also expressed his readiness to further strengthen cooperation between the State Duma and the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska.
