Vox redoubles its political offensive in the Cortes of Castilla y León. Just one day after its former government partner, the Popular Party, The law of concord was overturned in the House that the two groups designed and registered six months ago, those of Gallardo will present this Thursday a project of reform of the social dialogue.

As reported by sources of Vox EL ESPAÑOL de Castilla y León, the objective of the bill It is “betting on a real dialogue” and “changing the concept of social dialogue”betting on an opening to other actors and refusing that this be limited to the majority unions, UGT and CCOO, and to the CEOE.

A position that Santiago Abascal’s party has fiercely defended since it entered politics. and what the former Minister of Industry, Commerce and Employment, Mariano Veganzones, demonstratedduring the coalition government, repeatedly accusing unions and employers of enjoying “privileges”.

Furthermore, the former head of department on the proposal of Vox He has always been in favour of opening up social dialogue to other actors. and in June of this year, Veganzones announced that it would open the aid linked to it to about twenty trade union and employer organisations that were “outside the calls”.

Represent the PP

Vox’s initiative coincides with the 180-degree turn taken by the new minority government of the PP in terms of social dialogue. and will serve the training to depict the popular and demonstrate that they are “bent” to the unions, as Gallardo has repeatedly suggested.

The new councilor, the popular Leticia García, has shown from the beginning their desire to defend the classic model of community social dialoguelimited to the UGT, CCOO and CEOE, and promoted meetings with the unions in which he promised to reorient relations and pay the debts of the Labor Relations Service (Serla).

A position that was ratified last week by the President of the Council himself, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, after his meeting with representatives of the two trade union organizations and the employers’ association, during which he assured that social dialogue is “more alive than ever.” and has chosen to maintain the current model in recent years.

Vox did not like this change, who accused the PP of consolidating “the political agenda of the left” and to “bend” to the unions, and he denounced that the popular had returned to these organizations the “privileges” that they enjoyed in the stage prior to Gallardo’s entry into the regional Executive.

Law of Concord

The presentation of the bill on the reform of social dialogue comes a day later that the PP overturned the law of concord in the Cortes that the Popular Party itself promoted with Vox when it shared the government to replace the decree on historical memory of 2018, also promoted by the PP.

A decision that Mañueco’s party justified by “prudence” and the “necessity” of having a report from the Advisory Council given the risk that the Spanish government will appeal the rule before the Constitutional Court.

The explanation did not convince Vox and Gallardo accused Mañueco of “not having the right words or a sense of honor” and the popular to “serve the interests of the socialist leaders.”

A situation of irreconcilable division between the former partners of including the approval of future budgets for 2025 seems increasingly distant and to which Vox has chosen to try to put the PP in front of the mirror after its change of political line following the departure of Gallardo’s party from the government last July.
