The COP29 climate conference began its work in Baku on November 11. To ensure the safe and comfortable transportation of a large number of guests visiting the capital in order to participate in the conference, the Azerbaijan COP29 Operating Company, the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) and the General Police Department of State Traffic (BDYPI) preparations are being coordinated for the event venue, the airport and the city, the appropriate transportation scheme is being applied between transportation centers located in different strategic areas.
Oku.Az reports that during the preliminary sessions before the conference and the first days of the conference, from November 5 to 11, more than 58,000 participants were transported on buses operating on special routes between the event venue and various transportation hubs.
COP29 participants received high-quality transport services as a result of the operational coordination of institutions and professional regulation of traffic flow on capital roads.
