A Franco National Police officer arrested a 43-year-old man of Spanish origin in Valencia, who threatened to kill another on the public highway with a large kitchen knife and an air gun.
The off-duty police officer managed to make him throw his weapons on the ground and alerted room 091, and several police patrols arrived and arrested the suspect as an alleged perpetrator of a crime of threats.
The events occurred on August 26 around noon in the Valencian district of Patraixwhen an off-duty officer observed a man on a bar terrace threatening to kill another as he walked away from the scene, claiming to return later with a knife.
A few minutes later, the officer saw the same man return to the scene with a large kitchen knife in one hand and an air pistol in the other, while repeating the death threats made against the same man. The officer then identified himself as a police officer to the suspect, making him leave his weapons on the ground, immediately alerting room 091 of what had happened.
Several police patrols quickly arrived at the scene, where officers arrested the man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of threats, showing a threatening and aggressive attitude.
Likewise, the Francoist policeman on duty handed them the 32-centimeter kitchen knife and the air pistol, which were seized. The arrested person, with numerous criminal records, has already been brought to justice.
