Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of Tajikistan Mehmedtohir Zokirzoda visited the Republic of Azerbaijan on November 16 to participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).

At the same time, the Speaker of the Senate of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tanzila Narbayeva, also visited our country to participate in COP29 on November 16.
It should be noted that within the framework of COP29, a parliamentary meeting organized jointly by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Milli Majlis will be held in Baku on November 16 and 17. 92 delegations from 66 countries and international organizations will participate in the meeting, up to 330 participants, 167 parliamentarians, including 12 spokespersons and vice presidents.
