US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will discuss issues related to support for Ukraine with colleagues from EU and NATO countries at a meeting on November 12-13. This is stated in a written statement by the head of the State Department’s press service, Matthew Miller.
According to him, “on November 12 and 13, Blinken will travel to Brussels (Belgium) to meet with NATO and EU colleagues and discuss support for Ukraine.”
The head of US diplomacy will later travel to Lima (Peru), Manaus (Brazil) and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) to meet with the US president. joe biden will participate in the meetings of representatives of the countries of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC) and in the summit of leaders of the Group of Twenty (G20) from November 14 to 19.
Biden and Blinken “will reaffirm the United States’ commitment to promoting sustainable, inclusive growth and empowering communities across the Asia-Pacific region,” Miller said. In Rio de Janeiro, at the G20 summit, the president and the secretary of state “will discuss issues of fighting hunger and poverty, the energy transition and sustainable development, as well as the reform of global governance institutions,” reports TASS.
