North Korea launched a ballistic missile for the second time in a week ahead of the US presidential election.

Let us remember that on October 31, North Korea launched an intercontinental ballistic missile towards the Sea of Japan (for the first time since December 18, 2023). According to information from the Japanese military, the flight lasted 1 hour and 26 minutes, the distance was 1,000 km, and the altitude reached a record of 7,000 km. The missile fell into the sea about 300 kilometers from Okusiri Island (located 20 kilometers off the southwest coast of Hokkaido), outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone.
