Israel’s ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, spoke at a UN Security Council meeting and criticized the text of the proposed resolution, which relates to the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Channel 7 reports this.
“Any resolution that does not condition the ceasefire on the release of the hostages means leaving 101 hostages in hell, in the hands of terrorist monsters,” Danon said.
He expressed confidence that the Council’s proposed resolution only strengthens Hamas terrorists and terrorism, and also requires Israel to hand over its hostages. He stressed that Israel cannot allow the UN to limit its ability to protect citizens and said the fight will continue until all the kidnapped men and women return to their homes.
Previously, Cursor wrote that a report on the humanitarian situation in the northern part of the Gaza Strip was presented at a meeting of the UN Security Council. The Israeli ambassador, Danny Danon, took advantage of his speech to harshly criticize the Palestinian representative. He addressed the members of the Council directly.
Furthermore, Kursor already reported that at an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council dedicated to the Israeli attack on Iran, Israeli ambassador Danny Danon issued a direct warning to Iranian leaders. He stressed that Israel had long acted with restraint, but that from now on it would respond exclusively with force, ensuring that any new aggression would receive a swift and powerful response. Ambassador Danny Danon called on the Security Council to take decisive action.
