Russian President Vladimir Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the head of state will hold a meeting on economic issues on Tuesday, September 17, RIA Novosti reported.
The meeting will be held via video link. Members of the Cabinet of Ministers, representatives of the Central Bank and the economic bloc will also attend.
“Putin is in Novo-Ogarevo. Today we expect that in a couple of hours he will hold a meeting on economic issues. The entire economic bloc, the government leadership, the Central Bank and the presidential administration are taking part in a series of regular meetings on economic issues. There will be an open presentation where the topic will actually be discussed. We will show this open speech; the meeting itself will be held by video conference.” – Peskov said.
